In a new year filled with a plethora of ports for the Nintendo Switch, one in particular seemed to light up the audience. Dragon Ball FighterZ was announced during Nintendo’s E3 Direct, but you’re forgiven if you missed its brief 5 seconds of glory. The game was shown off with no release date, but as reported by Laura Dale, we can finally expect when we can get our hands on it.
According to Laura Dale, Dragon Ball FighterZ will release on September 27th in Japan. Though this date has not been announced for UK or US, presumably the Switch’s region-free system will allow users worldwide to pick it up for themselves on the same day.
The game will have no DLC available for free, but purchasing the game will net buyers a free download code for the Super Nintendo game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butouden. For those who are set to pre-purchase the game, they will also receive playable characters Goku and Vegeta (SSGSS), as well as the mode Extreme Type, which makes it easier to pull off super moves.
I’m definitely interested in FighterZ hitting the Switch as it seems like an excellent craft of pure passion from DBZ fans. What do you think of the game? Will you pick it up on Switch? Share with us in the comments below, or hit us up across our Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages.
