As Octopath Traveler looms closer to launch next month as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, players are wondering if it will have DLC released down the road. According to the same team behind Bravely Default state, the answer is an unequivocal no.

This report comes from a Dengaki Online interview, translated by Kotaku’s Brian Ashcraft, with Square Enix’s Masashi Takahashi. According to the producer, “We are not thinking about this at all. The release version is a finished product.”

In the same interview, Takahashi discussed the amount of content within the game, teasing that it will take roughly 50 – 60 hours to complete the main story, and during testing, another 20 – 40 hours “…to play through the other elements, like sub-stories and dungeons that you don’t have to go to as well as get proficient as you like at using special skills as field commands.”

Octopath Traveler releases exclusively on Switch on July 13th.
