More information has released from Nintendo’s 78th General Meeting of Shareholders. With questions ranging from the business expanding into more entertainment avenues to methods of combating the sudden drop in share price, one of the most shocking answers came when Nintendo was asked about their business strategy integrating indie developers into their strategies.

When asked how the indie scene falls into Nintendo’s business strategies, Nintendo made it very apparent indie developers will continue to be an integral part of the Switch’s strategies moving forward. In fact, according to Shinya Takahashi, “In the future, we are looking to release around 20 to 30 indie games on Nintendo Switch per week, and we definitely expect to see some great games among them.”

So many games!
