Capcom released new information about the upcoming Mega Man X Legacy Collections coming out soon to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The new information includes a new ‘Rookie Hunter’ mode, along with new screenshots for Mega Man X7 and Mega Man X8, and even additional content making its way into the collections.

The ‘Rookie Hunter’ mode is brand new to the series, and will be accessible across all games in the collections. This mode will be perfect to introduce newcomers to the series as the features halves all damage taken. In addition to this, examples of this mode were provided for X4 and X8, which prevents insta-death from spikes and pits.

Some additional features announced include a plethora of bonus content detailing goods sold outside of the X series games, including toys, cards, gacha toys, and will even include the 25-minute episode of ‘The Day of Σ,’ which served as a prologue to Mega Man X.

Mega Man X Legacy Collections 1 and 2 releases for everything on July 24, 2018, including Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more on Mega Man, check out the galleries below.

I remember playing the original game on the Super Nintendo back when I was a toddler, so it would be a great nostalgia trip to hop back into the series now.
