Dying Light: Bad Blood is an online “brutal royale” game developed by Techland launching into Steam Early Access in September. Described as a fast-paced multiplayer title, the game will combine both PvP and PvE elements into the action while “retaining the core of Dying Light’s iconic gameplay.”

Players will be able to hop into Steam Early Access by purchasing the game’s Founder’s Pack, which will provide in-game currency, exclusive items, and even 3 legendary skins that will be released throughout the first three months of its Early Access launch.

Though the game is planned to be free-to-play once it exits early access, the Founder’s Pack will be the way for eager players to test the game and support the developers throughout its development. According to a statement released by Executive Producer, Miciej Kaczny:

“We’ve always been keen to add more PvP multiplayer to Dying Light. We’ve read all of the messages from players  on social media and forums, and multiplayer has been a hot topic. We’ve also seen how players have embraced Be the Zombie and that inspired us to expand on multiplayer. But we want to do it in the Dying Light way, where this world swarming with infected is just as much a threat as the other players.

“This is how Dying Light: Bad Blood came to life, a game based on these key principles: the freedom and fast pace of parkour movement, the constant threat of the Infected, and the creative brutality of melee combat. Combined they offer an all-new brutal royale experience. Now we encourage the community to help us fine-tune the game before its release.”
