The follow-up to the much praised Monster Hunter Generations is out now on Nintendo Switch. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate marks the series’ debut on Nintendo’s latest system, and allowing gamers the flexibility to play together with friends via local wireless or online with up to three other hunters.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate tasks players with a perilous journey to defend each of the game’s four villages against a threat known as the Fated Four. Players will experience their journey with a “blend of classic gameplay and unique new twists, brand new explorable areas and monsters, plus returning fan-favorites like the lightning fast Zinogre and the stealthy long-tailed Nargacuga while also boasting the series’ largest roster of unique monsters.”

For those new to the series, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is adding powerful moves called Hunter Arts which can be executed with ease using the Nintendo Switch’s touch screen. Players will have the option to choose from six different Hunting Styles to experiment with to find their favorite playstyle.

The game will include free DLC as post-launch content, including collaborations such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and more.
