For those who are unaware, Capcom’s upcoming Mega Man 11 received a demo, which is now playable ahead of the game’s October 2nd release. Take on Block Man’s level in the new demo, which is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

In the demo, players will be able to choose from several difficulty options as they embark in the level’s “hand-drawn, technically advanced pyramid environment.” As they platform through the demo, players will have access to various tools available in the full game, including Mega Man’s best friend Rush, various boss weapons, and the brand new Double Gear system.

The Double Gear system premieres in Mega Man’s latest entry providing players with the ability to either slow down time or shoot more powerful shots. Experiencing the game with the new systems mechanics will provide another layer of strategy to the game, encouraging players to repeat levels as they discover new strategies to take on the powerful Robot Masters.

In celebration of the recent announcement, Capcom revealed a brand new Robot Master, Bounce Man. His stage was also revealed, taking place in the vibrant Boing-Boing Park. We’ve included a gallery of these new images below for reference:

I’ve only played a few minutes of the demo, and I’m surprised by how great the graphics look in motion. The controls feel like classic Mega Man, and I’m eager to hear what the diehards think of the latest entry (the recent ‘door issue’ notwithstanding). What do you think of the latest demo? Does this have you excited for the latest entry? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
