Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn was revealed during last week’s Nintendo Direct, bringing the Wii original over to the 3DS system. The game will contain all the original content, along with some new additions when it releases in 2019.

In Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn, players will find themselves controlling the pink puffball, Kirby, as he makes his way through a crafted world filled with yarn, cotton balls, and more artsy goodness. Kirby himself appears as a thread of yarn, which he’ll be able to use to overcome obstacles, turn enemies into yarn balls, and even transform into various creations. New additions to the rerelease includes new abilities for Kirby, along with new modes starring Meta Knight and King Dedede.
