After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Owlcat Games and Deep Silver have announced the release of their highly anticipated RPG Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a major callback to the classic pen and paper tabletop RPG Pathfinders, bringing along with it flexibility to shape the adventure depending on the player’s playstyle. This freedom takes shape in allowing “aspiring adventurers to recruit party members aligned with their playstyle, shape the surrounding world through meaningful choices and influence their own capitol city.”

According to Head of Owlcat Games, Oleg Shpilchevsky, “Making Pathfinder: Kingmaker has been the most incredible journey. As a team we have lived this game, poured our passion, energy and personalities into it. The time has now come to allow fans to experience all that the Stolen Lands has to offer. We hope you enjoy it.”

As a fan of the Pathfinder tabletop game, it will be interesting to see how this adaptation is received. It sounds like they’ve put a lot of great effort into recreating the experience, but only time will tell. But what do you think of the new Pathfinder game? Are you a fan of the table-top version?
