Creators of The Witcher video game series, CD PROJEKT RED, recently announced a long-term partnership with famed AAA multiplayer development team, Digital Scapes. The new partnership will focus on CD PROJEKT RED’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077.

Digital Scapes was originally founded by veterans from the video game industry, pulling in experts from Bioware, Radical Entertainment and Relic. The studio was founded its roots through specializing in AAA multiplayer on console and PC, creating new development tools, providing asset productions, and even cloud computing. Digital Scapes is previously known for their work on blockbuster games like Dying Light, Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40,000, and more.

The new partnership will work closely with CD PROJEKT RED to create and optimize technological solutions for use in the the upcoming FPS RPG.

According to CD POJEKT RED’s SVP Business Development, Michal Nowakowski, “Cyberpunk 2077 is our most ambitious project to date and we work hard every day to make it a creative and technological achievement. The Digital Scapes team brings aboard a lot of talent, experience and technical knowledge, and I’m very confident our long-term cooperation will add plenty to the game.”

No release date has been announced for Cyberpunk 2077 at this time.
